From Cathy Ferritto: To cast and crew: I was in the audience for every performance of “Millie” and each time it was a thrill! The sets were perfect, the orchestra was professional and the singing, acting and dancing were beyond description. Each part was perfectly cast and each person did their best every time. I was not familiar with this show or the music and so was very anxious to see the results of all the hard work put in by everyone involved. I was not disappointed! The dancing was incredible, and I was humming the tunes for days. Even now I can still think back to some scenes and laugh. You have all made my year with another Broadway worthy musical. Thank you.
From Elizabeth Floyd: I thought Millie was fabulous! Very well cast, very professional from the performers to the costumes to the sets. Some of the comments I have heard during and since the show include: "Best high school performance I've ever seen" (from someone who has seen a lot, including other schools); "I thought I was on Broadway"; "Best choreography I've seen in years, better than the recent Broadway shows I've seen"; "amazing" ...and I could go on and on.

From Deb Stype: We brought lots of family and friends to see the show and, even though I told them they would be surprised, all were amazed at the quality of this musical production. They were really blown away by the vocal, acting and dance talent they saw on stage. One gentleman said he has seen professional productions that were not as good. So, kudos to the entire cast, the tech crew and all the musicians! You gave your audiences one heck of a show! David Bahgat, from overture to the curtain call, you created a truly magical theatre experience. Chelsea Pyrch, thank you for incredible choreography that one does not expect to see in a high school musical. Margaret Pease, your costumes were a character all their own and made the production look truly professional. Thanks to Eric Kauffman, Amy Leacock and John Deliman for their dedication and commitment to UAHS’s music program. Just when you think you can’t top the last musical you do! The students are fortunate to have you. And thanks to the dedicated team of Dave Hammond, Don Gallucci, and Eric Leininger for creating another beautiful set. Jason Pritchard and Robert Vance, the lights and sound were great – everyone looked and sounded great thanks to you. Last but not least, a round of applause for the committee chairs and co-chairs who gave so much time and effort. In the end, I’m sure I’m not the only one who wished they could have joined the entire cast as they sang and danced the reprise at the curtain call. Such was the thoroughly wonderful experience you gave all of us!
From Carol Prebihalo, UAHS Parent: To everyone involved with "Millie" -- What a wonderful production! I was so impressed with the quality of the singing, dancing, and acting of all the participants, as well as the orchestra, staging, lighting, sound, and set operation. Everyone involved should be very proud.
From Lois Moor: Please thank all the persons involved with the outstanding presentation of Millie. The students who memorized pages of text and choreography, the orchestra which spent hours in rehearsal, the many teachers who gave up precious after-school time, and the stage hands worked together to make an unbelievably wonderful production. Thank you for the memorable experience of being part of the appreciative audience.
From David Bahgat, Director: I just want to say again how proud I am of everyone who was involved in "Thoroughly Modern Millie". You all made my directorial debut an amazing experience. To everyone in the cast. You really didn't look like a bunch of high schoolers up on that stage. You looked like professional performers. I must send a special thanks to Margaret Pease, who without her no one would have looked as great as they did onstage. Keep up all the good work everyone and know that I will always be a HUGE supporter of UA vocal music. -David Bahgat

From Louise Fenner: I congratulate one and all on "Thoroughly Modern Millie! Everyone did an outstanding job on the stage as well as behind the scenes. The costumes, sets, lighting, sound were all so well done. The orchestra was outstanding. I told your principal that I feel our world is in good hands when I see those young people doing such an outstanding job. It was opening night when I was there, and I do not see how it could be improved upon. Everyone was a "star" that evening!!! I'm thrilled that my grandson, Jeff Nygren, has been able to be an integral part of the UA music program led so ably by Mr. Kauffman.
From Barb Nygren: Bravo to the everyone involved in Thoroughly Modern Millie. From start to finish the performance was top-shelf. It is exciting to see Arlington alumnae return to continue their participation in the fine music program UAHS has to offer.
From Ellen Clark: Every year, as I watch the UAHS musical, I forget that I am watching high school students performing! Every single participant in this production, from the leads to the supporting cast to the chorus, to the orchestra and crew, were outstanding, and once again amazed the audience. Mr. Kauffman, you did it again! I especially want to congratulate David Bahgat, the Director, on his excellent job in providing impressive and strong leadership for the musical. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this wonderful evening of entertainment. This show seemed particularly professional, and the casting was spectacular! This will certainly be considered one of the finest musicals that UAHS has ever brought to our community ... and believe me, I have seen a lot of them through the years!!
