From
Elaine Finley - I attended
the Friday night performance of
Jekyll & Hyde. I was
prepared for it to be very good
as all the music events performed
at UAHS seem to be but I was not
expecting to be as they say "blown
away." I was captivated by
every scene and found myself wanting
it to go on all evening. To that
end I guess I had to purchase
another ticket for Sunday's performance
knowing I would not have an opportunity
to see even a professional performance
done as well as this one. I was
not disappointed by seeing it
the second time. It just allowed
me to savor every moment. I know
the practices were long and many
but the results cannot be questioned.
All aspects were done so well
I wish everyone I know could have
enjoyed. |

From
Jill Eliot, Director, Imaginating
Dramatics Company - To everyone:
Your production was amazing, spectacular,
incredible. The actors were terrific,
staying in character and being
believable even though you all
are so young. Having so many former
and present students from Imaginating
Dramatics in the production was
a real treat to see. Special kudos
to Lauren and Beth. I've known
you for so many years. I'm happy
that Ashley and Josh were a part
of this production. I judge performances
on the basis of the chorus' opening
number. If the chorus has that
little inward chuckle, "Boy,
do we have a show for you!",
the audience can feel it. And
kids you had it. Thanks for working
so hard to give so many a taste
of good theatre. To my old friend,
Dave Hammond - the set was, as
David Baghat said, Broadway! Eric,
you accomplished a difficult show
with great results. |

From
Donna Gallucci - I want to
thank you all (students, parents,
Mr. Kauffman, Mr. Manser, Mrs.
Leacock, Chelsea Pyrch, etc, etc)
for such a wonderful show and
allowing my family to be a part
of it. From Mr. Gallucci building
sets, Allison performing, and
myself being the hairdresser to
actually sitting in the audience
and watching the show - it was
a magnificent time. Every student
and adult that was involved in
Jekyll & Hyde should
be proud of yourself and the people
working with you. As you know,
I have been a part of many shows
at UAHS, and I would be honored
to continue to work with any of
you in the future. THANKS FOR
A MEMORABLE SHOW. |

From
Sarah Graves- Stunningly well
done by all Mr. Kauffman and students
alike. I couldnt believe
it was High Schoolers doing this
production. They all looked and
sounded like professionals. Beautiful
voices as well. |

From
Kristin Padavick - I just
wanted to congratulate the department
on your wonderful production of
Jekyll and Hyde. I
must admit that I only attended
because my Hastings student wanted
extra credit in language arts.
However, I was blown away by the
professional quality of your adaptation.
Ive seen several productions
at Playhouse Square in Cleveland
and your Jekyll and Hyde
was just as good as anything I
have seen there. The sets and
costumes were amazing. The performances
were top notch, especially the
leads. As a vocal student myself,
I was so impressed by the diction,
range, and overall quality of
the voices. Complementing this
was the beautiful musical score,
which was so well done by your
musicians. Each and every student
affiliated with this production
should be proud. The material
was a great choice, and seemed
to suit the actors well. I will
certainly make sure that I attend
future productions of the UAHS
drama department. |

The show is just amazing! This
is the first musical I have even

for my Junior year! Very lucky
to work with all and thank you!

From
Susan Hatten - Wow! Another
PHENOMENAL production. We are
a very lucky community to have
so much talent and so many students
and volunteers willing to share
their time. Jekyll and Hyde, again,
is so finely done many a professional
group would be outdone by YOU! |

From
Ellen Clark - Once again,
the UAHS Vocal Music Department
has brought us an outstanding
production in Jekyll &
Hyde. Each cast member was
outstanding! This was a demanding
show, I can tell, and the final
result was excellent. Parents,
congratulations on creating such
impressive sets and costumes!
And to the orchestra - it is always
difficult for me to believe that
I am listening to high school
students. You truly sound professional.
Thank you for an enjoyable evening
and another superb musical production. |
